McDan donates 3 Dialysis machines to 37 military hospital

The Chairman of the McDan Group and McDan Foundation, Dr Daniel McKorley has donated three (3) Dialysis Machines with Special Chairs worth USD 57,000 to the Renal and Dialysis Unit of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. Making the presentation to the Military High Command, Dr. McKorley underscored the need for Ghanaians to compliment Government efforts particularly in the Health sector to facilitate quality access to health care. As he puts it “this donation is to help reduce the rising incidence of death arising out of dialysis challenges and help improve general health care of the people”.

Receiving the Machines on behalf of the Military High Command and the Hospital, Lt Gen.Obed Boamah Akwa, the Chief of Defence Staff, expressed his appreciation to Dr McKorley for his timely donation and support to the Hospital and pledged to ensure the highest maintenance regime for the 3 Dialysis Machines. He commended Dr McKorley for his exemplary gesture, worthy of emulation and encouraged patriotic Ghanaians to donate more Dialysis machines to support the Renal and Dialysis Unit of the Hospital.
