McDan Foundation supports 16 Ada schools

AA CommAid Foundation, in collaboration with the McDan Foundation, has presented exercise books to 16 basic schools in Ada  East and West.

The two-day distribution exercise was at the instance of Naana Adiki Adi I, Queen mother of  Adibiawe, Ada with support from the McDan Foundation and AA CommAid Foundation.

A total of 10,700 branded exercise books worth thousands of Cedis were distributed to pupils of the 16 schools.

Having invested in tennis for the past five years in order to resuscitate the sport which had taken a nosedive, the McDan Foundation believes it is time to also support education in the country.

Chief Representative of the McDan Foundation Mrs. Abigail McKorley, wife of Dr. Daniel McKorley, Chairman of the McDan Group said “The McDan Foundation has come to empower the youth; as you may be aware, we have been supporting tennis in the country for some time now.

“The future belongs to our children. We can only get it right if the foundation of the kids is strong, hence our support in this direction,” she said.
